MOSCHINO

Founded in 1983 by Franco Moschino (1950–1994), Moschino became famous for its innovative, colourful and eccentric designs. Franco began his career as an illustrator for Gianni Versace during the 1970s, before founding "Moschino Couture!" in 1983. He made a name for himself by teasing the fashion industry, sending garments down the runway printed with clever plays on words such as 'Fashion is Full of Chic’, ‘Ready to Where?’ and ‘Bull Chic’. The campy, cartoonish pieces from this era have become hugely desirable and iconic today. This collection forms part of Circa’s designer archive, featuring archival vintage and museum-quality fashion pieces from the house of Moschino.
