2017 Siah Howard Couture Runway Pink Maxi Dress with Silk Column Skirt
Siah Howard is a haute couture fashion label established in London in 2017. An eveningwear and wedding dress specialist, Howard’s fantastical designs are elaborate, elevated and otherworldly. This incredible gown was created as part of the designer’s whimsical ‘Out of Eden’ collection. The body is crafted from a sheer nude mesh with abstract panels of tiny beads in pale baby pink and iridescent fuchsia bugle beads. Pearls adorned the nude mesh in patterns placed to look like coral. Soft fabric flowers in dark coral and magenta appear to grow up the body of the dress, finished with sage green fabric leaves and vines adorned with silver-tone metal chains. The silhouette is body-hugging; the dress is heavy and clings to the body due to the elaborate beadwork and stretch-mesh fabric. It has pretty cap-sleeves and a V-neckline at the front and back.
The skirt is tailored from fuchsia silk-satin and lined with tangerine satin, revealed through a slit at the front. It falls in a train behind the wearer, adding to the grandeur of the piece. The dress is unlined and, as such, is sheer underneath the mesh panels. It fastens at the back with a long hidden tonal zip. This dress is exceptionally long at both the front and back, so please check our measurements carefully.
This attention-grabbing piece is in excellent condition, particularly for a gown of such intricate embellishment and may only have been worn for the fashion shoot. The retail tag, minus VAT, is over GBP £13k. Due to being couture made, it has no size or composition label, so please check the measurements below carefully. We consider this sample size at a UK 6-8 or US 2-4.

What is archival fashion?
Archival fashion refers to historically significant designer garments preserved for their cultural, aesthetic, or technical importance. At Circa, archival fashion includes couture archive pieces, runway garments, early designer work, and museum-quality vintage that document the evolution of fashion history.
How is archival fashion different from vintage?
While vintage typically describes clothing over 20 years old, archival vintage is selected for its rarity, provenance, and relevance to a designer’s archive or fashion history. Circa specialises in archival pieces rather than general vintage.
