NINA RICCI

Maria "Nina" Ricci was born in Italy but moved to France in 1895 where she became an intern at a tailoring shop. She launched her own design company in Paris in 1932 with the help of her son Robert. Ricci designed dresses by working directly on the mannequin which ensured she achieved the best possible fit. Her designs are renowned for their feminine, romantic and refined feel. This collection forms part of Circa’s designer archive, featuring archival vintage and museum-quality fashion pieces from the house of Nina Ricci.
