PIERRE CARDIN

Pierre Cardin was a visionary Italian-born French designer who brought futuristic, avant-garde concepts to the masses. After a stint at Christian Dior, he founded his own house in 1950 and became the pioneer of Space Age chic, famous for his geometric silhouettes and bubble dresses. Cardin became the king of licensing, putting his name on thousands of products and building a massive global empire.
