Founded in 1913 by brothers Mario and Martino Prada, Prada began as Fratelli Prada, a leather goods shop in Milan. The label’s trajectory shifted dramatically in 1978 when Mario’s granddaughter, Miuccia Prada, took the helm. Combining her creative vision with the business acumen of her husband, Patrizio Bertelli, Prada evolved into a global powerhouse known for its intellectual designs and a refusal to follow trends. With Raf Simons joining as co-creative director in 2020, Prada remains known for its understated elegance and conceptual innovation. This collection forms part of Circa’s designer archive, featuring archival vintage and museum-quality fashion pieces from the house of Prada.
