This stylish 1960s wool check plaid twin set in monochrome tones is by American designer Anne Fogarty for The Grey Shop, Boston. The set is comprised of a sleeveless dress and matching jacket both in black and white wool check plaid with a hint of ivory to soften the starkness of tone. The dress has a round neckline with a calf length skirt arranged below the drop waistband in neat uniform pleats and a central zip fastening at the reverse. The jacket is long sleeved with a central button stand hosting 4 x spherical glass 'bullseye' buttons, and black patent trim on the collar and cuffs. The interior jacket and bodice of the dress are lined in black. This chic ensemble can be worn together or as separates and are in excellent vintage condition. Would fit around US size 6, UK size 10.
