Late 1930s Bergdorf Goodman full length silk ivory organza summer gown with beautiful blue embroidery and eyelet work. This unusual piece features a boned bodice with very thin spaghetti straps that unfortunately have a small amount of fraying at the shoulder, however is not too noticeable and could be easily replaced if it was felt necessary. There is a full double layered skirt, with the blue embroidered layer reaching the floor at the centre back. Inside it is lined in ivory and fastens at the side with a zip. In very good vintage condition, the only other thing to mention is a small hole in the lining of the front of the bodice, again unnoticeable from outside.
