It has a fabulous bralette element with sweetheart neckline and wide banding that would sit across the rib cage with an inverted V-shape waistline. The dress is beautifully shaped for the female form and has lace inserts across the bust and the skirt hem. The lace is tulle that has been over-embroidered with machined lace. The slip has very fine adjustable shoulder straps with dainty metal adjusters and a small elastic section, close to wear the straps meet the back of the slip, for dynamic adjustment. The bralette section of the slip is double lined and has been form-shaped. The slip has a very early zip made by Talon which was one of the best makers of zips from that era. It features a wonderful grosgrain trim on the inside to prevent the side metal zip from rubbing against skin.
In absolutely extraordinary condition. This is one of the finest slips we've encountered from this era. A small size and a best fit for around a UK 4-6, US size 0. These measurements are taken flat with a small amount of give in the bias cut design.
We have a very large slip collection and these are just some of our highlights. Do arrange an appointment to come and view our extensive archive.
