1950s Novelty Feather Print Cotton Swimsuit
Early 1950s novelty print play suit or swimsuit this is made from a lightweight cotton with the most fabulous stylised peacock feather print in bold primary colours. Interspersed with the feathers is a black Swiss dot pattern against a blue background and little clover leaves. With a sweetheart shaped bodice and featuring panels to disguise the cotton briefs, it has a smocked elasticated back (shirring).
In very good condition for a swimsuit of its age. It's not labelled but this has clearly been manufactured and aside from the elastic not being quite as stretchy as it was, there are no issues at all with this swimsuit. Best fit for a UK size 10-12 or US 4-6.
