1960s Chinese White Crochet Knit Cardigan

This is a sweet original 1960s crotchet knit pale cream button down cardigan with a Hand Made in China label. Probably an early acrylic yarn, the cardigan has two rows of lotus flower motifs that run down the front as well as diamond & stripe crochet sections on either side. It closes with 7 crochet buttons that lead down to a knitted hem that gives the piece a really flattering shape. As the cardigan is sheer we suggest layering it over a silk cami, T-Shirt or a pretty sun dress. It has short sleeves and a round neck. It is in excellent vintage condition with the knit all intact. We suggest this is best suited for all sizes up to UK 12-14, US 8-10.
