Late 1960s or early 1970s couture made floral lame dress. The print is exceptional and by American designer Rodriguez - its very similar to the work Oscar de la Renta was doing around this time. His clothing line was sold in high end department stores including Nieman Marcus. It is in a fantastic multicoloured floral print with gently fluted short sleeves, a neat collar and a graduating A-line shape that finishes around knee length. It fastens to the rear with a long central fastening zip. The dress is fully lined in a very nice cotton blend lining that is detached from the dress to allow some movement. It is simply signed with the designer label Rodriguez. It is couture quality and in excellent vintage condition, there are no issues with the lame fabric. We note there are a couple of tears to the black cotton lining; these of course cannot be seen when worn.
Best fit for around a UK size 8 to 10, US 4 – 6.
