Bill Tice won a Coty Award for his lingerie designs in 1974 and was renowned for his flowing loungewear styles & hostess gowns. The design is the pinnicle of his genius and this ruby red maxi dress is made of a super soft liquid velvet - probably manmade rather than cotton or silk. The bodice comprises of a gathered elastic and a tie front with a super sexy keyhole design. The ruffle trim of this dress is edged in gold thread as well as on the high thigh slit. The dress gently flares into an a-line shape from the bust to arrive just above the ankles and is unlined. In really super, barely worn condition - no faults of any note. It is difficult to measure but the fit suggests that this will work on extra small to small or US sizes 2-6 and UK 6-10.
