1970s Sylvan Purple Jersey Mughal Collared Lame Trim Dress

This is a really flamboyant 1970s example of evening wear by British boutique brand Sylvan. It has a high neck with a gold lame trim and a crossover front, fastening down the back with the original zip and hook and eye closure. The main fabric of the dress is a striking Royal purple, finished with flared sleeves - creating the perfect 70s silhouette. The skirt is full length and features a slit to the left hand side which comes up to around knee length, also finished with a gold lame trim, in bright gold, green and purple thread. The dress is in fabulous vintage condition and although labelled a UK size 12, it would best fit a modern size 8-10 UK, or 4-6 US.
