2010s Dolce and Gabbana Cream Dress Suit with Appliqué Work
This elegant dress suit was made by Dolce & Gabbana during the 2010s, probably S/S 2013 collection, and the dress still has its retail tags attached. The fabric is beautiful; a pale cream lightweight textured bouclé woven from cotton with a hint of stretch, it is detailed with appliqué lace in coffee-brown, rich cream and a tonal pale cream. The knee length dress is tailored to a classic shift style and is sleeveless with a rounded neckline. It fastens at the back with a hidden metal zip. The jacket is short and falls to the bottom of the hip. It is tailored to follow the curves of the body, closing at the front with hidden silk-covered snap closures. There is a faux welt pocket on each side of the waist. Both the dress and jacket are lined with tonal cream silk for a luxurious, comfortable wear.
The ensemble is in excellent unworn condition. BNWT, the dress alone originally retailed for €1,750. It is 93% Cotton, 5% Polyamide, 2% Elastane with a lining of 96% Silk, 4% Elastane. Labelled an Italian 44, UK 12 or US 8, and true to size in our opinion.

What is archival fashion?
Archival fashion refers to historically significant designer garments preserved for their cultural, aesthetic, or technical importance. At Circa, archival fashion includes couture archive pieces, runway garments, early designer work, and museum-quality vintage that document the evolution of fashion history.
How is archival fashion different from vintage?
While vintage typically describes clothing over 20 years old, archival vintage is selected for its rarity, provenance, and relevance to a designer’s archive or fashion history. Circa specialises in archival pieces rather than general vintage.
