ARCHIVE - 2011 Erdem Runway Documented Multi Coloured Abstract Print Dress
This striking Erdem maxi dress walked the runway as look 33/34 for the brand’s Fall 2011 show. Crafted from smooth silk, the print was uniquely designed by Erdem itself; an abstract, painterly pattern of rainbow hues offset by deeper, autumnal tones. The dress has a dramatic silhouette; cut with a long train, it puddles on the floor around the wearer like a spilled paint palette. The skirt has a high slit in the front. The gown is cut in a column silhouette that has been cinched by pleated panels of fabric which cross-over at the bust and wrap around the waist. It is lined with black silk-satin at the bust. The skirt is unlined. It fastens at the back with a hidden black zip.
Presented in excellent vintage condition with no issues of any note. It is made from 100% Silk. The label reads a size UK 10 but the dress runs much smaller and we have provided measurements below. It has not been altered. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 34" (87cm), Waist 24" (61cm), Hips: 34.5" (88cm) and 5' 7" (170cm) and she's a size UK 6, US 2. We estimate a good fit for UK sizes 6-8 or US 2-4.

What is archival fashion?
Archival fashion refers to historically significant designer garments preserved for their cultural, aesthetic, or technical importance. At Circa, archival fashion includes couture archive pieces, runway garments, early designer work, and museum-quality vintage that document the evolution of fashion history.
How is archival fashion different from vintage?
While vintage typically describes clothing over 20 years old, archival vintage is selected for its rarity, provenance, and relevance to a designer’s archive or fashion history. Circa specialises in archival pieces rather than general vintage.
