2016 Oscar De La Renta Runway 2-Looks-in-1 Three Tier Tulle Wedding Dress
Oscar de la Renta’s wedding dresses embody his signature blend of refined luxury and joie de vivre. Many celebrities have worn his dresses on their big day, including Amal Clooney, Kate Bosworth and Huma Abedin. This fairytale gown was the finale dress in the brand’s Spring 2016 bridal show. Crafted to a classic princess silhouette, it has a strapless corseted bodice and full, frothy tulle skirt. The level of detail across this gown is truly wonderful. It is cleverly designed to split into two gowns; a full-length gown for walking down the aisle and a playful mini-dress perfect for the dancefloor later on. The bodice is cut from a thick white silk and adorned with delicate tulle across a panel at the front. Under the bust and around the waist, there are bands of grosgrain ribbon decadently embellished with glittering rhinestones and pearls. At the centre of each sits a flat grosgrain ribbon bow. Internally, the corset is crafted from neutral-hued mesh, boned the whole way around and finished with an underwired bra. The back of the top does up with a tonal zip. The skirt is formed from piece upon piece of featherlight white tulle. It forms three dramatic, overlapping layers. The bottom two can be removed; this maxi skirt has a high-waist cut with a grosgrain ribbon waistband and chunky silver-tone hook-and-eye closure. It is lined with a chiffon skirt with a stiff tulle-lined hem. The skirt of the mini-dress has a luxurious thick silk lining, which also has a stiff tulle-lined hem.
There are massive amounts of tulle, some of which had some tears but these have been expertly repaired by our couture trained seamstress and they cannot be seen when worn. The dress is presented in very good condition with the original dress bag and still has a tag on. It is made from 100% Silk with tulle of 100% Nylon and a lining of 100% Silk. Labelled a size US 4, UK 8, we have provided measurements below. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 34" (87cm), Waist: 24" (61cm), Hips: 34.5" (88cm) Height: 5' 7" (170cm) and she's a size UK 6, US 2.

Will you set anything aside for me before I come?
We are happy to find anything you may be interested in from our website. We have an extensive offline collection. It is helpful if you can let us know your size, style, favourite colour to wear and perhaps your budget in advance of your appointment.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Clients may wish to bring modern shapewear. You may also wish to bring favourite footwear. We often find a classic pair of nude shoes work well when trying-on, or gold and silver. We have a huge variety of slip dresses and petticoats to complete your look. Many of which are also for sale.
Do you have a price range?
Many of our lower priced pieces, under £250, are not available to buy online. Dresses usually start at £150 and go up to £30,000 for the very best archival couture. Our bridalwear price points range from £1,000 to £20,000.
Can I bring anyone with me?
Yes but please do let us know the size of your party in advance.
Where can I get alterations?
We offer some alterations in house. Should you need alterations we cannot provide, we can refer you to one of our tried and trusted tailors.
Do you have an after-care service?
We will advise you on the best way to clean and preserve your vintage purchases and can also recommend trusted local dry cleaners.
Can I cancel my appointment?
You are free to cancel but please do give us as much notice as possible.

Do you have parking?
We offer free, secure, off-street parking but it is a tight squeeze – so do let us know in advance if you will be needing this and we can make sure that there is space available.
