2020 Rodarte Pink Red Heart Print Silk Dress with Ruffle Collar

This playful Rodarte gown walked the runway as Look 12/51 in the brand’s Fall 2020 collection. The Vogue review stated that, with the arrival of this saccharine dress, “the show took a turn for the lurid, and ingeniously did so by doubling down on the sweetness.” Playing up to the label’s whimsical, highly romantic leanings, it is tailored from sheer, pale candy-pink silk crepe printed all over with crimson hearts and pink, red and black flower-strewn vines. The dress showcases a flamboyant collar tailored from sheer silk chiffon and adorned with a coordinating print. It is trimmed with decadent ruffles and is so large that it falls across the shoulders in a mini cape-like fashion. The ruffle-trimmed puff sleeves are also tailored from printed sheer silk chiffon. The dress is cut to a classic, highly flattering 1940s tea-dress silhouette with a nipped-in waist and floaty A-line skirt. The gentle V-neckline is crowned with an attention-grabbing vibrant red rose with small green leaves. This dress is unlined and fastens at the back of the neck with a hidden tonal pale pink silk and hook-and-eye clasp.

In excellent condition and looks barely worn. It is labelled a size US 4, UK 8 but please check our below measurements. It is made from 100% Silk and the fabric has no stretch.
