This exquisite vintage 1950s set of diamante earrings with matching brooch are in superb condition and of excellent quality although without a maker's label. The earrings are beautifully arranged into two interwoven pieces that form an almond-shaped cluster of round-cut, prong-set crystals. The aurora borealis wash over the stones creates a captivating array of pastel shades in aqua blues, greens and indigo. A spray of baguette-cut rhinestones in aqua marine are arranged along the outer side of each piece in a fan effect. The brooch echoes the aesthetic of the earrings, whereby two separate elements are conjoined to appear as if in rotation and fringed with baguette cut rhinestones. Each of the pieces are foil-backed and rhodium plated. The earrings measure 1.2" (3.2cms) in length and 0.8" (2cms) in diameter. The brooch is 2.4" (6cms) in length and measures 1.8" (4.5cms) in diameter.
