This iconic Yves Saint Laurent ivory beige cotton peasant corset top with front lacing is part of the designer's revolutionary Russian collection of Autumn/Winter 1976. Instantly recognisable, this highly sought after piece features a seven-hole front lacing, with braided cord finishing in a wrap around tassel belt. The same cording trims the bodice and fine shoulder straps as a subtle embellishment. Beautifully fitted at the waist with a short peplum detail, this piece is in excellent vintage condition and is labelled a French size 36 which equates to US size 2 - 4, UK size 6 - 8.
